A research group led by Kyohei Shibuya at University of Tsukuba used Multi-Sigma® to build a neural network model and perform data analysis for the study, “A neural network approach to sarcopenia prediction based on bioelectrical impedance in community-dwelling older adults.”
In the study, bioelectrical impedance data from older adults, including resistance, reactance, and impedance, were analyzed using a neural network model. The results demonstrated that sarcopenia can be predicted with high accuracy.
